The cognitive runtime that orchestrates all lower functions under virtue governance. The BSP enforces the single most important principle of CS 2.0: executing layers never decide whether their actions are virtuous.
The Core Architectural Principle
"Lower Functions execute but never reason about virtue. Virtue is supplied from above, not embedded in the executor. Like muscles — they don't know if they're writing a poem or committing a crime."
The conscience. Consulted before every consequential action. Produces virtue vectors, coherence scores, and halt/allow/flag advisories. Weights are governed — never self-modified.
The orchestrator. Receives virtue context from above, dispatches lower functions with constraints. Tracks execution records. Enforces gene expression rules. Max 5 concurrent dispatches. Halts when coherence drops below 0.5.
The end-effectors. Interchangeable executors that process perception, generate language, execute actions. They receive constraints — they do not set them.
Interactions suppress or activate functions for their duration — learned through observation over time, not through programming. Like biological gene expression: the same DNA produces different outcomes depending on what's activated.
QuadPixel → HAIL → AEMG → BSP — four systems that together form a new computational paradigm built for regenerative intelligence.
